Nikolaev shipbuilders blocked the route: they were tired of sitting without work and salary for the third year
Employees of the once largest shipbuilding plant in Nikolaev have not received salaries for the past three years.

Deputy Alexander Zholobetsky stated this during the hour of questions to the government in the Verkhovna Rada, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to him, the fate of the unfinished cruiser “Ukraine”, which is idle at the quay wall of the plant, is also unclear.
“People were forced to block the highway three days ago, people are driven to despair. They have not received wages for the past three years. Wage arrears today have reached almost 60 million. The situation that has developed at the plant has never been seen in recent years. All our appeals to the Ukroboronprom concern do not yield any results. There is also a situation with the cruiser “Ukraine”. Over all these years, shipbuilders have been servicing our cruiser “Ukraine”. They do not receive a salary for this. I ask you to resolve the issue of the future fate of this cruiser, as well as the wages of the workers of the Nikolaev Shipyard,” Zholobetsky said.
