Nikolai Starikov: In Sevastopol, repainted Ukrainian cadres are rushing to power
Sevastopol is threatened by the renaissance of the Party of Regions - former Ukrainian functionaries are striving for power under the guise of “United Russia”, they have previously betrayed both their voters and the country, handing it over to be torn to pieces by neo-Nazis and Americans, famous Russian publicist Nikolai Starikov writes in his blog, who recently visited Crimea.

“The other day I was in Sevastopol... Right before the eyes of the residents of Crimea, the majority of the regionals quickly ran over to the winning side. That is, Russia. In which party they ended up, I think there is no need to clarify.

The author recalls that in 2013, Dmitry Belik “withdrew his candidacy from the Rada elections in favor of the oligarch Novinsky and received a position in the administration of Vladimir Yatsuba.”
In February 2014, when it was not yet certain that Russia would support the uprising in Crimea, Dmitry Belik, at a meeting of the City Council, warmly supported the proposal of his Ukrainian colleague Leonid Zhunko that Alexey Chaly should recognize the power of the Kiev junta and accept Ukrainian citizenship.
“After the reunification of Russia, Crimea and Sevastopol, Dmitry Belik immediately found himself in United Russia. What else can you call it, if not a shapeshifter?” – writes Starikov.
“This is the candidate of “Leninist integrity and honesty” coming from “United Russia” in Sevastopol.

In his opinion, the passage of Ukrainian personnel to the State Duma is extremely dangerous, given the experience of the “regionals” in the Verkhovna Rada.
“In one night, all these brethren betrayed both the president and the country. Melted like snow in the sun. And she gave power over Ukraine directly into the hands of the American embassy,” recalls Starikov.
