“No one should be forgotten”: Those who fought for Donbass will be provided with benefits
The DPR authorities are beginning to compile lists of all participants in the armed struggle in defense of the Donbass republics, who will be provided with social security.
The head of the DPR, Denis Pushilin, announced this today at a meeting with the commander of the separate guards reconnaissance battalion “Sparta” of the guard, Colonel Vladimir Zhoga.
According to Pushilin, an interdepartmental commission consisting of representatives of all law enforcement agencies is being established in Donetsk. The commission will have to determine the list of units whose participants will receive payments and benefits.
“We remember that since 2014 there have been a sufficient number of them - no one should be forgotten.
The list of units is approved, then work continues on the lists to verify the composition of each unit. The information is transmitted to the military registration and enlistment offices - at the place of residence, everyone will be able to receive combat identification cards.
At this point we need to understand the quantity, identify each one. Subsequently, with the development of the Republic, the development of the economy, of course, these are additional benefits, additional opportunities that will be provided. What we planned, we do - the work literally begins.
Another important thing is pension provision for military personnel, and now it will be included in the general pension system,” said Denis Pushilin.
The head of the DPR added that the length of service of military personnel will be determined on the basis of “three months.” This will be enshrined in relevant regulatory legal acts.
