Nobody wants to die for Poroshenko: They don’t join the Ukrainian army even for money
Announced conscription of reserve officers into the Ukrainian army associated with a large understaffing in the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Ex-Minister of Defense Anatoly Gritsenko stated this on TV channel 112.
According to him, officers are forcibly called up when there are no longer even contract soldiers.

“According to my information, there is a shortage in the troops and it is very serious. Let’s just say that I can’t name the numbers, because the numbers are indicators of combat training, they have a certain classification, but enough to attract additional contract soldiers or, if there are not enough contract soldiers for some reason, then on a forced basis. Obviously, this is being done now,” Gritsenko said.
