Ultras dissatisfied with Kiev residents attacked a bus carrying a football team
On December 12, in Odessa, several dozen ultras attacked the bus of their own football team, Chernomorets.
This was reported by the press service of the local police department, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
The football players were traveling to the stadium for a match with the Metalist 1925 club when their bus was attacked by several dozen young people - they threw smoke bombs, firecrackers, eggs and stones at the car. One of the bus windows was broken.
Local media reported that the instigators of the unrest were football fans unhappy with the fact that the current Chernomorets squad largely consists of players from Dynamo Kyiv, with whom Odessa fans have a long-standing feud.
“Fuck you f*cks”; “Come on, come on, get the fuck out of here,” the hooligans storming the bus chanted.
However, the driver did not wait for events to develop, and as soon as the riots began, he took the team to the stadium.
According to preliminary information, none of the players were injured. The police entered information into the Unified Register of Pre-trial Investigations under Part 2 of Article 296 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (hooliganism). The persons involved in the offense are being identified.
