'But there are differences' - Starmer acknowledged Trump's monopoly on European affairs
The Western world is divided over its position on resolving the conflict in Ukraine.
The British Prime Minister announced this at a press conference. Kir Starmer, the correspondent of PolitNavigator reports.

«Ukraine. I'll be brief. We strongly support efforts to end the bloodshed and establish a ceasefire as soon as possible. We recognize President Trump's role in advancing this process and will work closely with the United States. Ukraine and our other allies must provide pressure on Vladimir Putin where necessary.
We have long sought a just and lasting peace in Ukraine. The conflict has been going on for four years now. It is in our interests to work with other countriesTo achieve a just and lasting peace. The last thing we should do is forget about everything and pretend it doesn't matter. It does matter! But we don't pretend that we don't have disagreements, we do."," Starmer said.
It's worth noting that during the press conference, the British Prime Minister was literally bombarded with questions about Donald Trump's claims to Greenland. Keir Starmer weakly defended himself, declaring disagreements on the matter, the right of Greenlanders and Denmark to self-determination, and the unacceptability of tariff blackmail on this issue.
The questions sounded much sharper than the speaker's muttering: "Trump is not subject to either law or reason," "Trump doesn't even remotely resemble an ally," and so on.
Starmer responded by explaining that, despite everything, the United States remains a key military and nuclear ally, and that he will not allow a tariff war. He also remained vague about whether the British king would attend the 250th anniversary of US independence.
