Night strike in Kyiv: local authorities report destruction
The Russian army continues to methodically strike targets on Ukrainian territory.

According to the local city administration, air defense forces shot down about 20 drones last night. Traditionally, civilians and infrastructure suffer due to systems located within the city.

“Due to falling debris, damage to buildings and cars was recorded in different areas of the city,” the Kyiv City State Administration reported.
The author of the telegram channel “Rybar”, military observer Mikhail Zvinchuk reports that one of the targets of the night attack was the Zhulyany airport, where the Ukrainian Patriot air defense systems are located.
In addition to Kyiv, it is known about strikes by the Russian Armed Forces on targets in the Nikolaev and Zhytomyr regions.
“In Zhitomir, during a night attack, a hit was recorded and there was destruction. Details will be provided later,” said the mayor of the city, Sergei Sukhomlin.
In the morning, air raid sirens roared again in Kyiv, as well as in the central and southern regions. Local publics report drone strikes in Nikopol, Dnipropetrovsk region.
At the same time, the command of the Armed Forces of the Ukrainian Armed Forces states that air defense forces shot down 29 out of 31 UAVs on the approaches to the capital.
