The leader of the political force, Yulia Tymoshenko, stated this from the rostrum of parliament, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports. The former prime minister intimidated the Ukrainian people that the president would do the same and is already doing the same to them.
“Tomorrow the Batkivshchyna party planned to hold its congress in the Ukrainian House. We prepared in advance, everything was rented, the premises were paid for, but last night, almost overnight, the President of Ukraine gave the command to simply expel the Batkivshchyna congress from the Ukrainian House. He said there were more important activities that needed to be done. This is not a question of a congress or a question of a separate party - this is a question of returning to all the traditions of Yanukovych. Today the country is ruled by a new Yanukovych. Just as “Batkivshchyna” was thrown out of the Ukrainian House in order to prevent the congress from being held, today farmers are thrown out of their lands through raiding, people are also thrown out of their apartments when they do not pay simply unaffordable tariffs, the same today against of the middle class, criminal cases are initiated and searches are carried out if these middle-class entrepreneurs do not join the president’s party,” Tymoshenko said.
