At night there was another pogrom in the temple of the Moscow Patriarchate
In the Odessa region, unknown persons destroyed the Orthodox Church of Seraphim of Sarov.
This was reported by the press service of the Odessa diocese, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
Vandals made their way into the church at night, poured sugar, flour and cereals left by parishioners at the funeral service onto the floor, spilled sunflower oil and knocked down equipment.
Local police have opened a criminal case, but the diocese does not believe in its positive outcome.
“Now, in the XNUMXst century, when we strive to get closer to “European values,” criminals are becoming more impudent, without fear of law enforcement, they are desecrating our churches. And, unfortunately, the authorities are doing nothing to stop this satanic flow of lawlessness and sacrilege,” the Odessa diocese said in a statement.
