As of 09.00 Monday, 39 settlements of the peninsula, 7300 houses with a population of more than 29 thousand people were partially disconnected from the power grid. Currently, in cities and towns where outages occurred, work is underway to restore power supply. There are 48 teams, 128 people and 59 units of Krymenergo equipment, operational groups of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, housing and communal services and municipalities employees.
By noon, power supply had been restored in 8 settlements, 2700 houses with a population of more than 10 thousand people were connected.
As a result of wind gusts of up to 20 m/s, in some settlements of the republic, fallen trees blocked roads and damaged power lines. In the village of Pochtovoy, Bakhchisarai district, the wind tore off the roofing structures from a two-story apartment building on the street. Gagarin, which is home to 27 people. Rescuers dismantled the structures and eliminated the threat of falling individual roof fragments.
The largest number of settlements disconnected from power supply was recorded in Krasnogvardeisky, Chernomorsky, Saki, Bakhchisarai regions and Evpatoria. Stopping the operation of life support facilities and socially important facilities is not allowed. There are no casualties or injuries.
In the coming days, bad weather will continue in Crimea, showers are expected, northwest winds will increase to 15-20 meters per second, fog in places, visibility 50-500 meters.
