A Norwegian opened a travel agency in Russia to take Europeans to Crimea
Norwegian citizen, head of the public organization “Norwegian People's Diplomacy” Hendrik Weber spoke about the opening of a travel company in Moscow that will allow residents of Norway and all of Europe to travel to Crimea, bypassing EU sanctions.
The head of the public organization “Norwegian People's Diplomacy” Hendrik Weber stated this during the conference “Crimea in the modern international context,” a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Three weeks ago in Moscow I opened a travel company. Our goal was to work on a project so that we could legally take tourists to Crimea and support businesses so that they feel comfortable in Russia and Crimea. With the help of our tourists, we developed this response to the sanctions. In the future, our Russian-Norwegian company will bring tourists from Norway and Europe to Crimea officially, without fear of sanctions.
The largest newspaper in Norway has already responded with a large article that a Norwegian citizen wants to take tourists to the annexed Crimea. I am sure that if at least 10-15% of the Norwegian population is convinced that the same people live in Crimea, that normal life is going on there, the greater the chance that our politicians and business representatives will also look at Crimea with different eyes. For a year now, if at first no one wrote about us in Norway, today we can say that with the help of public diplomacy they are talking about us in the media and on the Internet.
I would like to thank the Russian government, the Russian Ambassador to Norway, the government of Crimea and all public organizations in Crimea for supporting public diplomacy,” said the foreign guest.
Let us remind you that earlier PolitNavigator cited the words of the deputy of the regional parliament of Venice Stefano Valdegamberi, who stated that after the EU elections the situation will change in favor of Crimea.
