“At 18:40, the duty station of the Kiev-Svyatoshinsky district police department received a message from a journalist of one of the TV channels that unknown persons attacked the film crew, took away the DVR and video camera,” the message says.
Police officers are investigating the attack.
In particular, during an attack on the film crew, the journalists' video recorder and video camera were taken away.
TV channel journalist Denis Bigus, injured in the incident posted on his Facebookthat the film crew was preparing a story about the houses of government officials. On this day, the site of Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs Sergei Chebotar was examined.
As reported, after the Maidan victory in 2014, Ukraine almost tripled its previous record for attacks on journalists. In particular, 995 violations of the rights of journalists were recorded: 286 attacks and beatings, as well as seven murders.
