The provocative new law on the “reintegration of Donbass,” voted the day before in the Verkhovna Rada and declaring Russia an “aggressor,” although it contradicts the Minsk agreements, suits the United States. Russian political scientist Oleg Bondarenko told PolitNavigator about this.

“I think that this law, in principle, suits Washington, and they are ready to turn a blind eye to the fact that Kyiv, in fact, ignores the Minsk agreements. This has been happening for the past few years.

But let's talk about the reaction after this law is signed by the president. So far, it has been adopted only in the Verkhovna Rada and, as we know, deputies of the Opposition Bloc decided to try to recall it,” Bondarenko noted.
