The New Rada adopted bad laws in turbo mode
The bills adopted by the new Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine raise questions among the public and experts, since they were adopted in “turbo mode”, without following normal procedures.
Mikhail Kaytsin, a political consultant at GN Consulting, stated this at a press conference in Kyiv, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“The 62 laws that have been adopted since the beginning of the new convocation of the Verkhovna Rada are subject to criticism because they were adopted in turbo mode.
This seemed to offer society a certain form - “we pass laws very quickly and for this, for your benefit, don’t bother, there is no need to put all the bills through some kind of public discussion and approval and so on, you gave us a mandate - we know what we need to do.”
We saw that, in fact, half of these bills voted on over the past few months cause criticism not only among the general public but also among experts who understand economics, law, etc.,” the expert noted.
