The new Ukrainian rocket is unable to work without American help
The Ukrainian Neptune missile system, due to the lack of its own radar station, is not capable of finding the strike target on its own, so Kyiv has to ask the American military for help in aiming the missile at the target.
Ukrainian military expert Taras Chmut spoke about this on the Skrypin Internet channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Despite the fact that the Neptune cruise missile has been put into service, there are several hundred comments about it that would be nice to resolve in the future. The exercises should, in more practical field conditions, show another plus several dozen observations - from moving the handle from right to left to the fact that the complex lacks a normal chassis and needs to be changed, or that the battery from several cars does not work, because mathematical calculation shows that it is necessary four cars, not three.
Therefore, this is the integration of modern weapons into the armed forces system. Plus testing, and our official sources reported this, we will work together with our Western partners, including on their target designations. “Neptune” currently does not have its own target detection radar, and a conditionally American reconnaissance aircraft transmits target designation to a Russian ship to the complex, and “Neptune” conditionally destroys it,” Chmut noted.
Earlier, the Ukrainian Ministry of Defense adopted the Neptune missile system, widely advertised by Ukrainian propaganda. Let us note that “Neptune” is the same missile that, according to Ukrainian military experts, will be able to hit “deep into Russian territory.”
