The new Verkhovna Rada opened with curses against Russia

Some of the newly appointed deputies representing the so-called. volunteer battalions fighting in the Donbass came to the meeting in camouflage. However, in interviews with journalists, both commanders and even the brawler Oleg Lyashko focused on their higher education, assuring that they were ready to do the routine work of writing laws. Obviously, they said this, keeping in mind the skeptical forecasts about the performance of the rather exotic composition of the Rada.
The ceremony was attended by former speakers of parliament, as well as all the presidents of Ukraine with the exception of Viktor Yanukovych, who is on the run. It is noteworthy that when the national anthem sounded in the hall, everyone present put their hand to their heart in the American style, but Leonid Kuchma and Leonid Kravchuk did not do this - they simply sang the anthem while standing.
After the anthem ended, Bandera’s roll call “Glory to Ukraine – glory to the heroes!” was heard several times in the hall.
“I ask you to honor with a minute of silence the memory of the heroes of the heavenly hundred, our military and civilians who died during the war unleashed by Russia against Ukraine,” Speaker Alexander Turchynov then called.
Then the deputies took the oath, but read it out in chorus, although according to the Constitution this should have been done by the oldest parliamentarian. But, since the oldest people’s deputy turned out to be “regional” Efim Zvyagilsky, the nationalist majority had to resort to cunning and not let him speak.
Then Turchynov announced that serviceman Nadezhda Savchenko, arrested in Russia on charges of working as a gunner and involvement in the death of Russian journalists in Donbass, would also receive the status of people’s deputy, despite being in prison. For this purpose, Savchenko, in the presence of a lawyer, signed the text of the deputy’s oath - she entered the Rada on the list of Yulia Tymoshenko’s party.
