The new Verkhovna Rada will turn part of the Kherson region into the Khanate of Dzhemilev
Kyiv, November 13 (Navigator, Vladimir Mikhailov) – With the new composition of the Verkhovna Rada, the chances of adopting changes to the Constitution of Ukraine have increased, which would grant part of the Kherson region the status of one of the regions of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea.
Deputy Mustafa Dzhemilev spoke about this at a press conference in Kyiv.

“We discussed the idea of creating an administrative center with Yatsenyuk, with Pyotr Alekseevich. This issue has not yet been removed from the agenda. But the problem is that this is a constitutional norm. The point was to annex the areas adjacent to Crimea - Genichesk, Skadovsky, etc. - to the Autonomous Republic of Crimea and thus create the structure of the unoccupied part of the republic. To do this, it is necessary to change the corresponding article of the Constitution, which states that the Crimean Autonomous Republic is created within the borders of the former Crimean region. To change it, you need at least 300 votes in parliament. There was no prospect of getting 300 votes. Now I do not rule out that we will propose such a bill,” he said.
Representatives of the Mejlis in the summer of 2014 already announced the possibility of creating an “unoccupied” Crimean autonomy in the Kherson region with a center in Genichesk.
