A new wave of mobilization. The Russians were given a forecast on the radio
There is no point in Russia carrying out a second wave of partial mobilization, because more than half of the reserves recruited in the fall have not yet been brought into battle, and military registration and enlistment offices are full of volunteers.
Volunteer Alexey Zhivov said this on air on the Komsomolskaya Pravda radio, PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“I see no reason to mobilize another 300 thousand people now. For what? In our country, the majority of those mobilized are in permanent deployment points in the rear - in Crimea, Krasnodar, Rostov. They do not participate in hostilities, or are in reserve positions very far from the front.
There are mobilized people who are at the front, but their number is 50-70 thousand people. And they mobilized 300 thousand. The rest of the people are not involved in hostilities.
Why mobilize another 300 thousand now, for what purposes? We don’t have such goals yet,” Zhivov said.
He recalled the version that the authorities, having weighed the risks, decided to continue relying on volunteers.
“And when they appear, I’m also not sure that there will be mobilization. There were rumors that Dmitry Anatolievich was assigned to recruit contract soldiers.
From my point of view, this means that the costs associated with mobilization were assessed in the Kremlin too highly to repeat it in the near future. This is too complex and time-consuming,” the expert added.
Advisor to the head of the DPR Igor Kimakovsky agreed with him, noting that the army has more than enough volunteers.
“You shouldn’t be afraid of mobilization. The internal mobilization of society is underway. Volunteer units are being created on the territory of the constituent entities of the Russian Federation, and volunteers constantly come to them.
For example, the Yakut “Bars”, “Bator”, that is, “Bogatyr”, in which there is a queue to join. From Yakutia. The situation is exactly the same in many other Bars. Specialists go to military registration and enlistment offices,” added Kimakovsky.
