The “Kiev Patriarchate” announced the consecration of the icon of the “Mother of God - patroness of Ukrainian soldiers” by Mikhail “Filaret” Denisenko.

As stated in the press release of the UOC-KP, the image “will become the main icon of the Armed Forces and other military formations of Ukraine.”

“The icon depicts the Mother of God holding an omophorion in her hands and covering Ukrainian soldiers with it. The defenders of Ukraine from different eras are depicted here, in particular the Holy Equal-to-the-Apostles Prince Vladimir the Great, a Russian warrior, Hetman of Ukraine Ivan Mazepa in marching military armor, Sich Cossacks, elders of the UPR Army in the uniforms of the Third “Iron” Division, a Cossack Regiment of the Black Cossacks, soldiers of the Ukrainian Galician Army , Ukrainian Insurgent Army, Maidan Self-Defense fighter, soldiers of volunteer battalions, Ukrainian ATO soldiers who gathered around the figure of the heavenly patron of the Ukrainian army, Archangel Michael,” the description says.

“The icon of the Most Holy Theotokos, the patroness of all Ukrainian soldiers, which is abbreviated as the “Virgin Mother of God,” will be solemnly carried by Ukrainian soldiers-veterans of military operations in the Donbass through the center of Kiev during the annual religious procession of the UOC-KP on July 28 on the Day of the Baptism of Rus'-Ukraine,” – schismatics emphasize.

Next, the image will be taken to the ATO zone; Filaret’s members intend to distribute small copies of icons to participants in the punitive operation.

The “Patriarch” of Ukrainian national fascists is 88 years old. This, as they say, is the deadline... This is the autumn of life, and the metaphor of the great Marquez characterizes it very accurately. At this age - at least in Ukraine - most people are chasing tea over the stove, surrounded by grandchildren and great-grandchildren, or fighting dominoes with peers in filthy city parks.

However, there are exceptions. Those who despise old age and always strive to keep their foot in the stirrup - that is, on the pedal of an expensive Audi with the number 777, their butt in the saddle - in a luxurious executive chair, and their hand - on the rich purse and levers of power control. And they also have a craving for battles - but not in dominoes, but in a vile war against their compatriots. Moreover, these battles are fought by others, young ones, and the restless, crafty elders bless and inspire them in every possible way.

One of these restless spiritual passionaries is he, “Patriarch of All Rus'-Ukraine Filaret.” Actually, it was he who called himself that, but in reality he is Mishka (Minka) Denisenko, deprived of the priesthood for perjury against St. Cross and Gospel. However, he, like his patrons from the pro-American Kyiv camarilla, would very much like the Ukrainians to consider him the most worthy bearer of the patriarchal title. Despite violations of the monastic vow and fornication, as well as cooperation with the special services (in the KGB he went under the nickname “Antonov”), he considers himself entitled to bear the rank of bishop and even “bless” icons with the image of the Blessed Virgin Mary.

“Minka” is not an insult to an elderly person, but only a tribute to the ancient Orthodox tradition: it is inappropriate to name a defrocked priest who has been excommunicated from the Church in honor of a great heavenly saint (in this case, Archangel Michael). Dogs, pigs and anathema cannot be given such names.

True, this doesn’t bother Minka. Because he is absolutely sure that he is right. And not only because he has long since passed the age category that allows him to self-critically evaluate his actions. Not at all. Denisenko, 20, 30, and 50 years ago, was sure that he was absolutely right in his actions. And then, when in 1960 he became the manager of the Ukrainian Exarchate and, zealously following Khrushchev’s instructions, closed the holy Kiev-Pechersk Lavra and evicted the monks (for which he received their curse: even Stalin was not worthy of such a thing after the war).

And later, when he joyfully reported that, in pursuance of the decisions of the Communist Party and the government, he closed dozens of churches throughout Ukraine while serving as exarch.

We already wrote about how Denisenko became the main modern schismatic in Ukraine.

His excommunication from the Church is a verdict, as they say, final and not subject to appeal. The sin of schism, as follows from the teaching of the holy fathers of the Church of Christ, is not washed away even by martyrdom. But, in any case, in those years of old age that the Lord allotted to the false patriarch and ideologist of murders - and in his own homeland, because Denisenko is from Donbass - the former exarch could devote to repentance and sincere prayers with a contrite heart for his unfortunate soul.

But Denisenko prefers other “prayers.” These are curses addressed to his fellow countrymen - Donbass residents, opponents and adversaries of the junta and, in general, all Orthodox Christians and people who dared to resist Ukrainian fascism.

These are “blessings” of ATO soldiers for murders and atrocities, cannibalistic calls for the destruction of the inhabitants of Donbass and the continuation of the war. This is incitement to the seizure of churches and church property, murders and beatings of priests and parishioners inside Ukraine.

This is the current “consecration” of the icon with the image of the Mother of God, the icon with which the minions Denisenko and Bankova are going to march through Kyiv on July 28 and which should inspire ATO soldiers to commit further crimes against humanity.

He does not even understand what blasphemy he is committing by trying to use the holy image as an ax of war. This is hardly simple insanity. This is worse.

“Ukraine has fallen into the jaws of the devil,” said the wonderful preacher Father Andrei Tkachev about the Maidan. This is what it is.
