“The new generation of Americans does not consider Russia an enemy” – California gubernatorial candidate
US President Joe Biden is pursuing a sanctions policy against Russia because he is an outdated politician stuck in the Cold War.
The leader of the California Independence Movement, Calexit candidate for the post of governor of the state, Luis Marinelli, stated this at a press conference in Moscow, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“California is my home, now I’m trying to get back there. I have difficulties with this because I have a Russian family. My daughter recently became a US citizen through me. My wife needs a visa to travel to America even temporarily to vote in the elections.
We are trying to get it, but it’s not working because our American president wants to fight Russia with his sanctions. Due to the fact that there are such problems, the US Embassy in Moscow does not issue visas. We are now trying to do something about it,” Marinelli said.
“Of course, the embassy is not to blame, it’s the American president, because he’s so old, so “sleepy Biden,” that’s what we call him. He is from another time, he is from the Cold War. He thinks that Russia is our main enemy, I don’t think so, because I am from a different century, from a different generation.
“I didn’t want to support Biden because I knew that he would become president and continue the Cold War with Russia, and this would affect me and other Americans who live here in Moscow,” the American politician explained.
