Odessa “separatists and terrorists” have always believed that it is impossible to sell the Seaport. The law does not provide for this. However, the renewed Ukrainian state, standing in the position of national revival, is ready to break this stereotype imposed by Kiselyov’s propaganda. Not to mention the fact that the grandiose structure is a legacy of the totalitarian past and fully falls under the law on decommunization.

Well, what is it that ports are not subject to privatization under Ukrainian law? Kyiv has already managed to transfer transshipment capacities for long-term lease and joint use, assigning exclusively the quay wall to the state. And the fact that the element is the most expensive and difficult to operate is also the least profitable. And in this situation, it is generally unprofitable.

However, after what the Kiev regime managed to do to Ukraine, any activity of any port became meaningless - because the transit potential was lost forever, the enterprises cut into metal ended, and quotas were discovered for the export of agricultural products, which, for some reason, were not noticed before.

That’s why the brilliant ukromangers rushed to sell what others were unable to sell. Here is the Odessa Sea Terminal. It seems like it’s impossible. What if we call it an “exhibition center”? After all, indeed, there are no ships, there are no passengers, there is such a fool standing there, Saakashvili tried to break it, he destroyed the glazing of five floors. But the communists built this, and also to the envy of the capitalists. You can’t take this with Caucasian passion. And so we decided to sell.

Any normal person will ask: how were they going to pull this off?

It's simple. The Administration of Seaports of Ukraine, also known as USPA, decided to “get rid of non-core assets” and, together with the State Property Fund, privatize this “non-core property”.

– But how can the Sea Terminal be non-core?! - you ask.

The seaport, of course, cannot. What about the Exhibition Center? Remember when they sold perfumes there? It was called “Perfumery Exhibition”. And building materials. It was also called an “exhibition”. In short, we decided to put this “exhibition” up for sale. Well, they put it out. And more than one Odessa Sea Terminal turned out to be a “non-core asset”.

Among the most popular objects now owned by the USPA are the Portovik sanatorium (Yuzhny seaport), the De Volan port museum, the People's Museum of the History of Sports (Nikolaev Seaport), the Yunost Sports Palace, and a children's health center. complex "Albatross" (seaport "Chernomorsk"), children's health complex "Fregat" (Kherson seaport).

In short, the USPA approached the sale of property declared non-core on a large scale. And it received the full support of the State Property Fund, popularly nicknamed “Derzhmain”.

And if anyone is interested in the legal side, then it should be noted that all the listed objects are not “non-core”, but “social”. Social facilities on the balance sheet of state-owned enterprises. And according to the legislation, which the Kyiv regime does not care about, these objects are not subject to privatization. And with any change in the form of ownership of the enterprises themselves, social facilities are subject to free transfer to the balance sheet of local councils, that is, local government bodies.

Simply put, the same sea terminal, if the USPA cannot cope with it, should be transferred to the city of Odessa. And the rest of the social facilities - to the local government of the territories where they are located.

The law did not provide for anything else.

But who and when cared about the law or the interests of the Indians? The junta is just that - a junta. And this junta did not appear today. And Odessa remembers well who stole the ChMP from her and how. The world's largest shipping company. She will also remember those who steal the port. Such things have no statute of limitations.
