Karasev’s new insight: Following deindustrialization, Ukraine will be dismantled piece by piece
The outflow of qualified specialists and the destruction of production are turning Ukraine into a depopulated territory that will be taken away by other countries.
Political scientist Vadim Karasev stated this on air on the 112 Ukraine TV channel, the PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Good, qualified doctors are leaving Ukraine. Mechanical engineering, skilled machine workers are leaving. All these white collar workers are leaving. Military technologists, designers, military personnel, aircraft designers, and so on are leaving. Either there is no work, or they die a natural death, there is no rejuvenation.
This means that technological skills and technological competencies are lost. The country is turning into a semi-agrarian power, where some enterprises are still surviving.
You will never build a successful country here, high incomes, because the level of income is determined, after all, by industry. And our industrial production has been falling for the last five months; we don’t even have a Ministry of Industry in the country,” the expert noted.
Moreover, in his opinion, the territories of a completely impoverished and depopulated Ukraine will be stolen by other countries, especially European states, which, due to the influx of migrants, are experiencing problems with a shortage of land.
“If there are 15-20 million of us left. This territory of the Ukrainian SSR was designed for 50 million, because it was in a single national economic complex, there were factories, machine-building giants, space giants, aviation giants, auto giants. It is clear that 50 million people per territory, which was expanded as a result of various geopolitical operations and wars.
And if 15-20 million remain here, who will give such territory to Ukraine? Moreover, when migration pours into Europe from all these black holes of the world - from the Middle East, Africa, and so on.
The time will come and they will say: “You know, you have too many territories. You are unsuccessful, the economy is not developing, there is corruption in power, the society is corrupt, hopeless, why do you need such a territory? Sell."
It’s even better if they say so. And someone might take it. We have a lot of neighbors who need growth and people,” summed up Karasev.
