New video of drunk Poroshenko - like Yeltsin!
Social networks are actively discussing a new video showing Petro Poroshenko during a recent visit to the part of the former Donetsk region controlled by Kyiv. The Ukrainian president, with a flushed face, shouts into the microphone and waves his hands, from which commentators conclude that the head of state is not sober.
Kiev political scientist Sergei Belashko compares Poroshenko with former Russian President Boris Yeltsin.
“Pyotr Alekseevich more and more resembles Boris Nikolaevich. Judge for yourself:
– mediocre and totally corrupt government;
– a senseless war;
– expansion of security forces and bureaucracy;
- frank and cynical spoliation of national property;
– the desire to be re-elected for a second term, even as a scarecrow or as a carcass;
– sincere belief in one’s omnipotence;
– disdain for parliamentarism;
– unlimited populism, including the use of heavy equipment;
– tendency to drink, including in the workplace during working hours;
– special relationship with the head of security, who has received inappropriately large influence;
– lack of faith in institutions, constant attempts to replace them with relatives, friends, or just people who liked something.
But to be Yeltsin, you still need to find your Zyuganov and your Putin. And Poroshenko has only Rabinovich and Gritsak in his deck,” Belashko sarcastically comments.
