Kyiv, October 17 (PolitNavigator, Vladimir Raichenko) – Only complete peace or a transition to a full-scale war will save Ukraine from a military coup according to the African scenario.

This point of view, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports, was voiced by the director of the Institute of Global Strategies, Vadim Karasev, at a press conference in Kyiv.
“There is a danger of a military coup and military clashes in the country, because the state of “no war, no peace” is beginning to play a destructive role,” the Ukrainian political scientist believes. – We need either full-fledged peace and a full-fledged peaceful life, demilitarization of politics, which in our country is militaristic in consciousness and in fact, since a lot of weapons come from the ATO zone to Ukraine. Or we need to introduce martial law and fight. All power to the military, they calm down, especially the middle management. If the state of “no war, no peace” continues, then a Latin American or African scenario cannot be ruled out, when battalion commanders, captains, majors simply stormed and took presidential palaces.”
According to Vadim Karasev, Valery Geletey was dismissed not for the defeat at Ilovaisk, but because of his inability to take control of the army, which was also demonstrated by the new Minister of Defense.
“We see that Poltorak was shot down on takeoff by a riot of the National Guard,” the expert noted. “The commander of the National Guard is appointed Minister of Defense so that he can somehow restore order in the army, but one of his wings is knocked out. And on one side he becomes the Minister of Defense. And now the plane called the Minister of Defense flies, as it were, on one wing.”
The director of the Institute of Global Strategies claims that various kinds of volunteer battalions do not listen not only to the army command, but also to their battalion commanders, as a result of which a strange picture is observed.
“Some go to the Verkhovna Rada, others go to the ground; For some reason, all the battalion commanders are alive, but people died,” explains Vadim Karasev, according to whom the situation in the country, along with potential military uprisings, could also be complicated by social riots in southeastern Ukraine.
