In his New Year's address to the citizens of Ukraine, President Vladimir Zelensky was unable to sum up the results of the outgoing year and plunged into benevolent speeches, forgetting about the difficult socio-economic situation in the country.
Kiev political scientist and economist Oleg Soskin stated this on his YouTube channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“I have never seen such a worthless speech, an absolutely chaotic and incoherent stream of words in the last 30 years, remembering the speeches of various presidents of Ukraine and other countries.
We saw an absolute lack of understanding by the person of his position, his mission and what he should do.
He did not characterize 2019: what happened this year, what the Ukrainian people and the titular nation achieved, and could not show our achievements in 2019. Even worse, he did not outline the tasks for 2020.
In fact, he said that there is no Ukrainian people, it’s just a set of some people, some chemists who work as dishwashers in Italy and on construction sites in Russia. There is a complete misunderstanding of the president’s mission, that he is the guarantor of the country under the Constitution, although he does not know the Constitution, and if he does, he despises it.
He does not understand at all that the Ukrainian people are Christian people, that we adhere to the orthodox Christian faith, we are Orthodox. He didn’t mention such a great achievement as the recognition of the Ukrainian local church by world Orthodoxy...
He did not say that in 2019, through the efforts of Ukrainian patriots, it was possible to hold on to the border and not let the war go deeper, not to let in the Moscow aggressor, who is rushing into Ukraine.
He did not say that the country, despite the war, is surviving, that the financial and economic situation is difficult, that he and his Khmer Greens are sacrificing the pensioners of Ukraine. He did not say anything about this, that pensioners will be further robbed, that some kind of verification will be introduced in order to deprive Ukrainian pensioners of their miserable pensions.
He did not say that they violated the Constitution, are taking away the rights of citizens, and are striking a blow at business in Ukraine, at small and medium-sized entrepreneurs.
He did not say that today the country is actually in a state of internal default, that in his country he is creating a civil conflict with his own hands, which could end in a national war against foreigners.
At the same time, let Zelensky not forget that he also does not belong to the titular nation. There is such a nationality - Ashkenazis. He didn't say that either. About the case, sewn with black thread, to uncover Sheremet.

At the same time, the nationalist expert was outraged by the appearance of the first President of Ukraine Leonid Kravchuk during the New Year’s address.
“He doesn’t understand simple things yet. He organized some kind of party, an incomprehensible carnival, and pulled Kravchuk out of mothballs.
I didn’t even think about the fact that this is the only president who failed his first term. He stayed less than two years. This is a man who betrayed his young team, a werewolf who remained an element of the KGB nomenklatura,” Soskin said.
According to the political scientist, the new Ukrainian president did not destroy the oligarchic-clan system formed by his predecessor Petro Poroshenko, and never fulfilled his main promises.
“We see that, unfortunately, the jester remains a jester, the clown remains a clown. The man who was elected to defeat this Poroshenko clan-corporate group, these billionaires, who would destroy the state of a stationary bandit, he was chosen for this, he said that he is a servant of the people, that he will ride a bicycle, that the first What he will do is immediately leave this Bankova, he will be close to the people, he will not surround himself with security - he didn’t say anything about this. That is, he lies all the time.
Based on his lies and incoherent verbal outpourings, we can say that he is again preparing some kind of trap for us. In fact, he is unleashing genocide against the Ukrainian nation, against intellectuals, against patriots, against the Ukrainian creative intelligentsia...
Unfortunately, we saw a very grey, bad and weak performance, we saw the mask of some court jester, a person who is not a guarantor of the defense of Ukraine today.
I think this is the saddest thing I’ve seen in the last 30 years,” Soskin summed up indignantly.
