“The world has changed” is one of the most popular phrases in the media. And this is a very fair remark, because a lot around us has indeed turned upside down. Only one thing does not change - the composition of artists on New Year's television programs on federal channels. An amazing stability reigns there - like a cemetery, but not without perversions.

This is what, for example, Sofia Rotaru, who so generously sponsored the war in Donbass, is doing on the “blue lights”? Art is beyond politics, someone will say? And this is the singer the audience wants to see? But, excuse me, how does this fit in with the murder of specific children, for which specific money was allocated? And don’t we want to see our compatriots, our people, more broadly speaking, healthy and happy, and not sitting under fire?

Channel One, by the way, launched a very interesting event - it showed the best New Year's numbers over the past couple of years. And there were some very remarkable things there. "Mumiy Troll", for example. Or a duet between Natasha Koroleva and Chris Norman. The problem and sadness here is different: the years passed, and the artists’ performances became less and less creative, more and more predictable.

In fact, Russian television has left all the best New Year's in the past. It did not give birth to anything equal to, for example, “Old songs about the main thing.” But there were also experimental projects - like “Blue Light”, where rockers sang. By the way, they also somehow made their way to Channel One. Or there was “The First Night with Oleg Menshikov,” where the punks “Naiv” could cover “The Clock” by the pop singer Valeria. It was funny.

However, we still cannot live up to the times when Yuri Gagarin gave toasts at the Blue Lights, and Muslim Magomayev spoke immediately after him. Progress, as Rousseau said, has given us nothing but a decline in morals. A controversial remark, but in the case of Russian television, this seems to be the case.

And not to say that they don’t invent it. No, they give birth to something, but it’s either the times or the artists. For this New Year, we organized masquerades that smack of not just strange decisions, but outright perversions. Who were they showing this for? For swingers? For BDSM fans? The viewer has not yet moved away from the transvestite-like Loboda, who appeared immediately after Putin’s New Year’s greetings.

But, if you think about it, that’s how it is. This whole Russian show business, in fact, resembles a closed swingers club, where participants have fun to their heart's content, practicing more and more adultery. And they also make money from this by broadcasting the action. Well, faces and bodies have not changed for decades. They are increasingly reminiscent of the famous scene from the Soviet film “Viy”: “Ghouls come to me, ghouls come to me!” And they crawl out, and those, raped and impaled, attack the viewer. Artists, motherfucker!

What to do? So Dmitry Puchkov (also known as Goblin) proposed a recipe on his social networks: they say, broadcast those who are actually chosen by the people. Oh? Look: across all platforms, the most popular performer in Russia is Mr. Morgenstern. Do you want to see him on New Year's Eve? How will this character be affected? Hardly positive. You might as well play “A Serbian Film” instead of “The Irony of Fate.”

I'm afraid the trouble is that those who are popular will not make money at the box office and will not bring any benefit. The dominance of slag and rubbish is already great, but television, meanwhile, initially, in addition to entertainment, also carries enlightenment. Remember this? It would be nice. And it would be possible, for example, to put together a New Year's program in which original artists from the regions would perform, and between them real heroes would appear in the frame - doctors, children, firefighters and many others whom the damned celebrities leave in the shadows.

Then it would be real and new. And believe me, the viewer would appreciate it. And so: Morgenstern and Koka, Kirkorov and Baskov are one boring evil, reeking of greed and perversion. But it no longer shocks, it doesn’t entertain – so, I yawn.
