Problems with “active majoritarians” are predicted for the New Rada
It’s too early to write off the animators and presenters” who joined the new Verkhovna Rada under the banner of “Servant of the People”. In just six months they will add up and become too active.
Former Prime Minister of Ukraine Yuri Yekhanurov stated this on the Internet channel InterVizor, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“I dealt only with those who studied with us at the School of Political Leaders, in which we graduated four times. And I'm glad that some of them got into parliament. These are people who already have an outlook and clearly understand what country they live in. I spoke with more than just our alumni, and I understand that I am selective, but those with whom I spoke made a very serious impression on me.
Those who think that ignoramuses have come, who know nothing, are deeply mistaken. No matter how they get into trouble later, creating some kind of resistance or misunderstanding. Normal people passed through and, as in every team, there are leaders, there are people who understand, who know where they are leading. And there are those who will simply push the buttons for now.
But then, after a while they will understand something, and I predict that after February next year the ruling team will have problems. Especially the majoritarians will consider the price for themselves and understand their capabilities. They will be so active that I think that along with the elections to local authorities, which will be held in October next year, new parliamentary elections are quite likely,” Yekhanurov said.
