Gubarev’s “Novorossiya” goes to the DPR elections as part of a bloc
Donetsk, October 13 (PolitNavigator, Victoria Litovchenko) – After the DPR Central Election Commission refused to register the Novorossiya party, whose leader is Pavel Gubarev, its members intend to participate in elections within the electoral bloc.

This was reported by Miroslav Rudenko, a member of the political council of the Novorossiya party.
Rudenko said that the Central Election Commission refused to register the Novorossiya party as a socio-political movement due to non-compliance with the procedure and identified shortcomings in the submitted documents. At the same time, in the near future it is planned to correct the inaccuracies and complete the registration of the Novorossiya public movement.
“Politics is the art of the possible, so at the time when we were preparing to submit the republican list, we had a lot of consultations with a number of socio-political forces in the DPR, in particular with the SVD “Berkut” deputy group. As a result, together with this organization, as well as with a number of public figures of the “Russian Spring”, we registered the public organization “Free Donbass”, the chairman of which is Evgeniy Orlov. And our political force will go to the elections on November 2 within the framework of the electoral bloc - the public organization “Free Donbass,” the DPR press service quotes Rudenko.
As PolitNavigator reported, yesterday socio-political movement “Novorossiya” was denied registration and participation in the upcoming elections in the proclaimed Donetsk People's Republic. Gubarev's car was fired upon, as a result of which he was hospitalized in a Rostov hospital. Political scientist Roman Manekin believes that what happened could have been PR.
