New details from Gerashchenko: according to him, they wanted to plant a mine with a magnet under his car
The odious people's deputy and adviser to Arsen Avakov, Anton Gerashchenko, shared the details of the allegedly uncovered attempt on his life. According to him, the detained criminals who were preparing his liquidation tried to plant magnetic explosives under his car.

“Two citizens of Ukraine were detained who, on instructions from the Russian special services, were preparing my liquidation by planting a magnetic explosive device under a car. They were detained on Friday evening. On Saturday evening, by decision of the Shevchenko District Court, they were arrested for two months without posting bail,” the people’s deputy said at a briefing in Kyiv.
Gerashchenko also said that the detained persons who were preparing his liquidation watched the house where he lives, watched the Verkhovna Rada, and watched how he moved.
“They were detained at the moment when they left their place of residence and were on their way to fulfill an order, that is, to place an explosive device,” he added.

At the same time, the name of the people's deputy was not mentioned. Subsequently, Anton Gerashchenko stated that an assassination attempt was being prepared on him.
