“New shoulder straps - new defeats”: Ukrainian volunteer about awarding Muzhenko the rank of “army general”
Well-known Ukrainian social activist and volunteer of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Yuriy Kasyanov criticized the promotion of Chief of the General Staff Muzhenko to Army General, which was made by Petro Poroshenko on the occasion of “Day of Defender of Ukraine.”

About it Kasyanov wrote on his page on the social network.
“We live in Through the Looking Glass. Where those who work more earn less; where stealing a lot means being the best; where patriots and soldiers are valued less than footballers and models. In this country, the occupiers are called “little green men”; volunteers – illegal armed groups; they do not notice the loss of territories and millions of citizens. Here they are more willing to award posthumous awards, and general's shoulder straps are given for lost battles. A year ago, Muzhenko received a colonel general for the “liberated” Slavyansk and the bloody Ilovaisk. With new shoulder straps, we lost Lugansk airport, Donetsk airport, 32nd checkpoint, 31st checkpoint, Debaltsevo... Therefore, today the president made the chief of the General Staff an army general. New big stars on uniform - new defeats,” he wrote.
