“Some actions were taken there, but the current composition of the Rada was unable to pass a single law that would stop the onset of social and economic chaos,” the Ukrainian political scientist emphasized. – Parliament did not initiate the adoption of laws aimed at reforms. The quality of the bills proposed in the Verkhovna Rada remains extremely low. Even a 56 percent renewal of the payroll did not turn out to be a panacea. Public activists, who criticized the previous government quite seriously and to the point, were simply helpless in the current Rada.”
