Savchenko's new lawyer refused to name the amount of his fee
People's Deputy Nadezhda Savchenko, who had previously refused lawyers, citing lack of money, signed an agreement with two new defenders - Alexander Shadrin and Konstantin Globa, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
This was announced by Savchenko’s new lawyer Alexander Shadrin himself.
“On May 15, we signed an agreement for representation in the Constitutional Court, and on May 18, it lifted restrictions on representation in other bodies,” said Alexander Shadrin.
It is noted that on May 14, during a court hearing to extend her preventive measure, Savchenko stated that she was refusing all her lawyers because she did not have the money to pay for them.
Lawyer Shadrin refused to comment on the terms of the contract with Savchenko and the amount of his fee.
“This is a subject of attorney-client privilege,” he noted.
