The governor of the Kiev-controlled part of the former Donetsk region, Pavel Zhebrivsky, believes that the territories of the DPR and LPR will have to be returned under Ukrainian control by force.

About this Zhebrivsky said in an interview with the Ukrainian state news agency Ukrinform.

“We must quickly implement a blockade, and then actually use force to resume control of the Ukrainian authorities over the entire Donetsk region,” Zhebrivsky said.

Zhebrivsky is confident that the economic blockade will “bring sense” to the residents of the territories not controlled by Kyiv.
