Donetsk, October 11 (PolitNavigator, Victoria Litovchenko) – The newly appointed chairman of the Donetsk Regional State Administration, Alexander Kikhtenko, said that he is now studying the situation regarding the location of the Regional State Administration in Mariupol.

In the next 3-4 days he will decide whether the regional administration will be located in Mariupol or in another place. Now Kikhtenko is getting acquainted with the real situation in the region, reports the publication “0629”.
According to him, he has 10 days to present to the president a real plan to resolve the situation in the Donetsk region. Speaking about his first steps as governor, Kikhtenko noted that the effective work of law enforcement agencies and civil society is especially important for Donbass today.
“Petr Alekseevich (Poroshenko – editor’s note) himself answered the question about how he sees my first steps. He connects his purpose with the fact that a military man will be able to connect military force and civil society,” Kikhtenkoyu said
He believes that “a team of professionals will be created that will be able to establish the strength of law and order.” Kikhtenko also noted that he himself had been to Donbass several times as commander of internal troops and was familiar with the situation in the region.
