The new governor of Sevastopol, Dmitry Ovsyannikov, announces the arrival of “Varangians” to work in the city government. He spoke about this in an interview with the Izvestia newspaper.

“A number of trained specialists with potential, both at the federal level and from the regions of Russia, will receive offers to go to work in Sevastopol,” he said, adding that he also counts “on proposals for candidates from the legislative assembly.”
According to PolitNavigator, a meeting between Ovsyannikov and the ex-head of the Sevastopol Legislative Assembly Alexei Chaly should take place in the near future.
The new governor also announced a visit to Sevastopol by Plenipotentiary Representative to the Southern Federal District Vladimir Ustinov, ex-Prosecutor General of the Russian Federation.
