The new Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine does not even think about reaching an agreement with Russia - expert
The Ukrainian prime minister is a man who does not want to trade with the Russian Federation, and the head of the Foreign Ministry is a total Russophobe.
Leading researcher at RISI Oleg Nemensky stated this during a press conference, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“The new ministers were clearly not selected for negotiations with Russia,” the expert said. – Dmitry Kuleba has a scandalous anti-Russian background, no one in Russia will definitely talk to him. Defense Minister Andrei Taran is more likely to play the role of a negotiator; he at least has experience in negotiations with the Russian side in Minsk, but these are military negotiations.”
Nemensky suggested that relations with Russia will be completely under the control of the head of the office of the President of Ukraine Andrey Yermak. And this means that Ermak is not going to agree on anything serious with Russia.
“If I was going to, I would need another foreign minister,” said a leading researcher at RISS. – There is interesting information from (Ukrainian MP from “OPZZH” - ed.) Vadim Rabinovich about how he caught (newly elected Prime Minister Denis - ed.) Shmygal and asked him if he was going to trade with Russia, to which he was quite pleased clearly answered that he was abandoning such plans.”
At the same time, Oleg Nemensky also drew attention to the absence, when approving the composition of the new Ukrainian government, of discussing issues of language and national reconciliation. Despite the fact that these issues were outlined in the “12 steps” program for Donbass presented at the recent Munich Security Conference, prepared by international experts.
