The new commander of the “ATO” said that he is ready to fight even with his brother from Crimea
The new commander of the Joint Forces of Ukraine, Sergei Naev, is ready to sacrifice his brother living in Crimea if he receives an order to do so.
He stated this on Channel 5, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
The Ukrainian military leader ruled out the possibility of influence on himself through a relative.
“As for his presence in Crimea, there are millions of Ukrainian citizens there and influence on me through my brother is absolutely impossible... As for my brother, this is impossible, I took the oath in front of the Ukrainian people, I confirm that influence on me is absolutely impossible. Even under any conditions,” Naev said.
To the leader’s clarifying question about what the commander would do if his brother was captured, he calmly replied: “I will carry out the task. It won't affect me."
