New bummer: Trump did not support the declaration of the LDPR as “occupied territories”
The West did not support the adoption by the Verkhovna Rada of a law declaring Donetsk and Lugansk “occupied territories,” announced on the eve of Petro Poroshenko’s trip to Donald Trump.
Deputy Dmitry Tymchuk from the Popular Front stated this on air on the ZIK TV channel.

According to him, “Western partners” insist that official Kyiv does not accept the previously announced law and, moreover, does not abdicate responsibility for what is happening in the Donbass.
“We believe that the east of Ukraine is occupied, there is an occupier... In fact, there is an opinion in the working group to, after all, bypass the term occupation, due to the fact that there is a position of our Western partners.
At first I thought that this was flirting with Russia, but in fact, this is the fear of Western partners that we recognize these territories as occupied, then, according to international law, all problems of providing for local residents fall on the shoulders of the occupier - Russia, but the Western community, including international organizations, are worried that Russia does not recognize the fact of occupation.
Therefore, so that these residents are not left without any support at all, they urgently ask that we not recognize these territories as occupied,” Tymchuk said.
