The new ombudsman of the Rada provoked an international scandal
The recently appointed Verkhovna Rada Commissioner for Human Rights Lyudmila Denisova demonstrated her incompetence after visiting the Kyiv pre-trial detention center.
About this on his Facebook page said Kiev lawyer Valentin Rybin, reports PolitNavigator correspondent.
"Cheap. On August 14.08.18, XNUMX, Lyudmila Denisova, Verkhovna Rada Commissioner for Human Rights, came to the Kiev pre-trial detention center and began to go around the Russians and demand from them an application addressed to the President of the Russian Federation about the exchange, explaining this with some kind of verification of the lists. Two prisoners, including my client Farukh Kamalov, wrote such statements.
Having received the applications, the authorized Verkhovna Rada immediately reported on Facebook about the mega-important work and presented it as a super trump card at the upcoming exchange meeting in Minsk.
But Lyudmila Denisova probably forgot that such “cheap show-offs” only confirm the inability to think constructively and really help the return of Ukrainians from prison!
Yesterday, Tatyana Nikolaevna Moskalkova was informed by me about such a provocation on the part of Denisova and, I think, the Russian Federation will give a proper assessment of the actions of the Ukrainian Ombudsman!” the lawyer wrote.
In addition, the defense lawyer expressed outrage at the fact that the Ombudsman of the Ukrainian Parliament forced prisoners to write statements in the absence of their lawyers, and therefore they are invalid.
“Yes, and of course, I advise Lyudmila Denisova not to show the statement written by my client without notifying me, as a defense lawyer, and in my absence, to anyone at all and not to send it anywhere, so that some kind of scandal does not happen!” said Valentin Rybin .
We would like to remind you that PolitNavigator previously reported that Ukrainian security forces they are trying to accuse the former Deputy Minister of Sports of the Russian Crimea, Farukh Kamalov, who was detained in February of this year, of treason for the fact that he lived according to the laws of the Russian Federation and did not commit sabotage.
