New Poroshenko Prosecutor General: There is no evidence of murders of police officers by Maidan activists
Kyiv, February 16 (PolitNavigator, Maxim Karpenko) – The Prosecutor General’s Office does not have a single fact proving the involvement of Euromaidan supporters in the killings of police officers during mass protests in Kyiv in 2014.
The newly appointed Prosecutor General of Ukraine Viktor Shokin stated this at his first press conference in Kyiv.

This is how he answered a question from a British journalist that an BBC investigation showed that protesters on the Maidan were the first to shoot at security forces, provoking a response.
“As far as I know, no such cases have been recorded, and the investigation on this issue does not have any data,” Shokin said.
Let us recall that Shokin’s candidacy was proposed by Petro Poroshenko, but two factions included in the coalition, the Radical Party and Samopomich, refused to vote for the new prosecutor general.
Then the Opposition Bloc faction helped the president collect the missing votes.
