New ambassador will help Americans buy Ukrainian land – Karasev
Former Minister of Finance of Ukraine Oksana Markarova was appointed Ambassador of Ukraine to the United States because of her connections in the banking environment, since with the opening of the Ukrainian land market this year, land purchases will be carried out through banks.
Political scientist, director of the Institute of Global Strategies Vadim Karasev said this on the NEWSONE TV channel, PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“She's a banker. Her husband is a banker. They worked in the government borrowing market. The earth and banks are an inseparable couple. Land is a bank collateral. When does the land market open? From July 2021. This is an important point. Who will come here? Agrarian mastodons, large agricultural corporations.
Therefore, Markarova is an “investment nurse”, an ambassador for all these sharks of American business, who now, after Biden’s arrival, are at a low start, and again want a new wave of neo-globalism,” Karasev said.
