The new convocation of the Verkhovna Rada has brought Ukraine to a new low
During the year of the existence of the new convocation of the Verkhovna Rada, the presidential party “Servant of the People” not only failed to cope with any of the key tasks relevant to voters, but also took advantage of its mono-majority to push through anti-people laws in favor of the criminal demands of the West and the IMF.
Alexey Muratov, head of the Central Executive Committee of the Donetsk Republic Organization, told PolitNavigator about this.
“Exactly a year has passed since the election of the Verkhovna Rada of a new convocation, in which the political force of the president managed to form a mono-majority for the first time in the history of Ukraine. This was the result of the enormous credit of trust that the Ukrainians gave to Zelensky and his “servants” in order to jointly turn the ship “Ukraine” away from the disastrous course of the colonial-nationalist oligocracy.
However, the situational association of “Servants of the People” not only almost immediately after the elections broke up into competing groups representing the interests of local oligarchs and Western puppet masters, but also actually failed to cope with any of the key tasks relevant to voters,” Muratov said.
He recalled that destructive medical, social and educational reforms continue, plus the situation in the field of linguistic discrimination has not improved. In addition, the announced high-profile imprisonments of corrupt officials did not result in anything other than noise in the media.
“Tariffs for housing and communal services have not decreased, but on the contrary, in general the amounts of payments have increased, subsidies and benefits are being cut. At the same time, stricter measures are being introduced towards non-payers. Instead of the promised end to the “era of poverty,” citizens received credit bondage and an economic crisis, as a result of which many have already lost their sources of livelihood,” the social activist added.
Instead, the speaker notes, “servants of the people” ensured the fulfillment of the IMF’s criminal demands to open the land market and in the banking sector, and supported the bill on gambling. Also, with the law on local elections, Kyiv actually denounced the Minsk agreements, and an escalation of the conflict is again observed in the territory of Donbass.
“Thus, the ‘servants’ have clearly demonstrated in just a year that they are not working for the benefit of the people of Ukraine, but are ensuring the interests of the West and local oligarchs, which is actively condoned by the president and the government,” concluded Muratov.
