On the evening of April 28, the Russian liberal community, which stands for everything good against everything bad, as part of the “No!” campaign, organized a live broadcast of the first all-Russian online rally on YouTube and several social networks.

For more than three hours, “people with good faces” from among actors, “rights activists”, opposition politicians, mouth singers, hipsters, gays and democratic journalists - right from home, expressed a decisive protest against the introduction of quarantine measures in the country, the nullification of Putin’s presidential terms, new amendments to the Constitution and the authorities’ refusal to grant amnesty to Sword and Plowshare comrades languishing in prison.

balcony action that accompanied the online protest “For Life”

Information support for the event was provided by Radio Liberty and other well-known liberal militant leaflets.

To break up the monotony of the talking heads, and to attract the attention of young people, the organizers of the couch protest interrupted the broadcast with rapping performed by Noise MC.

From the very beginning, the organization let us down, and the protest, like the first pancake, came out lumpy. The participants performing in front of the webcams began to have problems with sound, and it was quite funny to watch the recorded protestors slap their lips in almost complete silence - instead of burning the audience with a verb.

The host of the opposition show was Moscow MP Ilya Azar, who encouraged the respectable audience with a joke that the festival of disobedience was being held without the consent of the capital’s mayor’s office, and no one would be packed into a paddy wagon for watching the broadcast.

Speeches on the webcam were made by tired talking heads from the group supporting Lyokha Navalny’s initiatives.

Judging by the speeches of the speakers, they hate the very idea of \uXNUMXb\uXNUMXbsitting indoors and expressing protest online instead of marches shaking the Kremlin, with incendiary chants, through the streets of Moscow under the gentle spring sun. Some speeches gave the impression that the raging “corona” was no more dangerous than diluted beer for an organism hardened in battles for the triumph of liberal values, or another cunning invention of the authorities to prevent people from partying beautifully and in protest.

Opposition politician Dmitry Gudkov shed stingy male tears for citizens languishing “in a digital concentration camp,” called his protest a “speech under house arrest,” and strictly demanded that the authorities distribute money to workers. Like, “around the world, governments spend hundreds of millions to support their populations.”

Dmitry Gudkov

We offer to the co-owners of the collection bureau "Central Debt Agency" (according to rumors, it is harshly pressing debtors), expensive real estate in Varna and London (in the Westminster area, from where it is a stone's throw to Her Majesty's Secret Service), father and son Gudkov, before opening your mittens, - sell their assets and distribute the proceeds to Russian children in need of emergency medical care, because, as the classics rightly said, “all major modern fortunes are obtained through criminal means.”

Oligarch Prokhorov’s sister Irina, a literary critic by training, showed herself to be a major expert in the field of constitutional legislation, accusing the Russian authorities of “an insufficient level of education.” Because “it’s impossible,” you know, “to redo the Constitution every twenty years.”

Irina Prokhorova

Literary critic Prokhorova did not share her revelation of what the correct intervals between editions of the constitution should be.

A deputy from the loser Yabloko party, Lev Shlosberg, with a blue eye, irresponsibly declared that “there is no Putin,” because: “he does not take responsibility, does not make decisions, but considers himself the president.”

Lev Schlosberg

I wonder who the politician Lev Shlosberg thinks he is, for whom language makes decisions?

A very interesting speech, with amazing depth of meaning, was put forward by the feminist Zalina Marchenkulova. The central phrase of her speech is worthy of being quoted verbatim: “Victims of domestic violence are often asked, “Why didn’t you leave your abuser before?”

Why haven’t we all left Putin in 20 years? Why do we continue to live with our abuser?”

fem-radical Marshenkulov

Putin, stop abusing and holding!

Entrepreneurs Temirov and Zarykovskaya believe that tax deferment for businesses during the coronavirus holidays is not a support measure. Those who like to “optimize” taxes and pay part of their employees’ salaries in envelopes are demanding full financial assistance from the state in order to continue the long-term practice of hiding real income after the end of the pandemic.

“small entrepreneur” Daria Zarykovskaya

For some reason, journalist Maxim Shevchenko, representing the “Left Front,” was brought into the liberal frame. His speech was not much different from the rhetoric of liberal figures. Shevchenko, like the Liberoids Svetov and Pivovarov, accused the authorities “of lying, concealing criminal acts, destroying infrastructure and failing to cope with the epidemic.”

The accusation against the authorities was favorably received by the moderator of the online meeting, but when Shevchenko spoke in favor of a referendum on constitutional amendments, Mundip Azar strictly besieged the left-flank Maxim, saying that any proposals in support of constitutional amendments do not correspond to the goals and objectives of the online meeting.

Liberal democracy is only for liberal democrats!

The liberal brain juice splashed onto the screen was diluted from time to time by the incendiary recitative of the one-man orchestra Noise MC, accompanying his beloved on several musical instruments at the same time.

“I haven’t left the house anywhere for ten years: kitchen, hallway, living room, pantry, bedroom, toilet. I take out the trash and put a bag in the hallway by the door in the evening. And at night I hear noise, I don’t go to check, but in the morning it’s not there,” the rapper said in his own civil protest, emphasizing that the song was not originally about that, “but it began to sparkle with new colors during quarantine.”

Already during the video protest, it became clear that the organizers of the sofa action had increased the number of likes on YouTube for the event in advance and had even placed advertisements for the purchase of comments on several online exchanges in advance.

The Anti-Propaganda project claims that to create the appearance of popularity of the event, the organizers increased the number of likes, sharply increasing them from 1,4 thousand from the beginning of the broadcast, to 9,2 thousand at the end, with one single dislike, which, in principle, does not happen with normal voting.

Observers noted that a trial online rally was organized on November 4, 2019, during which just over 18 thousand views were registered. This time, the organizers took care in advance to increase sympathy, so as not to let such an important matter take its course.

The very next day, that is, April 29, the organizers of “No!” claim that on several video hosting sites the broadcast of the protest rally attracted over 100 thousand viewers.

I have absolutely no idea which of the declared 100 thousand viewers was able to watch the three-hour cretinous outpourings to the end, because the sofa protest on web cameras was a stupid event, like a meeting of an expert club on chamber pots in a kindergarten, occasionally enlivened by someone’s sparkling insanity. Sapienti sat.
