The new Ukrainian prime minister demanded a billion-dollar bribe for water supplies to Crimea
Behind the statement of the newly appointed Prime Minister of Ukraine Denis Shmygal about the possibility of resuming water supplies to Crimea is the desire to receive a bribe from the Russians in the amount of a billion dollars.
“Ex-representative of the President of Ukraine in Crimea Boris Babin” stated this in a commentary to UA: Crimea, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“We all understand perfectly why this was done. The amount of bribes for supplying water to Crimea grew from 20 million in 2015, sometime in 2018 it already exceeded 800 million dollars. I know that now we are talking about a billion.
We must understand perfectly well that in this matter there is nothing except corruption and the surrender of Ukraine’s national interests to the enemy. All the talk about humanitarianism, about something else - these are just people just lying on the fly. They cannot say that “someone gives money, and therefore we open the water,” Babin laments.
