The director of the Kyiv Center for Political Studies and Conflict Studies, Mikhail Pogrebinsky, said this at a press conference in Kyiv, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports, when answering the question whether a new violent regime change is possible in Ukraine.
“Until the external legitimator of this coup is found,” the political scientist said. “Roughly speaking, this means that external players, I mean, of course, the West, must decide who they are willing to bet on and whether they will support whoever comes to power in this way.” So far I don’t see any prospects for this to happen. And Pyotr Alekseevich will rule and rule. Maybe this isn’t the worst option?”
As PolitNavigator reported, in Ukraine assume that the US will turn a blind eye for a new Ukrainian coup d'etat.
