It was Valery Koroviy, who had already worked in the regional state administration. During the governorship of Alexander Dombrovsky, Koroviy served as first deputy.
After the election of Viktor Yanukovych as president, Koroviy served as the “first person” of the region for several months.
According to unofficial information, he was then offered the position of head of the Regional State Administration in a “package” with membership in the Party of Regions, but he refused, and soon left the civil service. Until 2012, he headed the supervisory board of the KMT company, and then was appointed deputy mayor of Vinnitsa for economic issues.
According to the publication “RialVin”, Korovia has “close and friendly ties” with Petro Poroshenko’s associates Alexander Dombrovsky and Vladimir Groysman.
As PolitNavigator reported, Petro Poroshenko previously appointed Valentin Reznichenko, who is associated with the head of the presidential administration Boris Lozhkin, as chairman of the Zaporozhye regional state administration.
