The head of Russian Unity has been elected as the new Prime Minister of Crimea. Senchenko has already called him “the foreman of the organized crime group”

Simferopol, February 27 (Navigator, Astra Yazyka, Mikhail Ryabov) – Deputies of the autonomy parliament approved Sergei Aksenov, leader of the Russian Unity party, as the new head of the Council of Ministers of Crimea. 53 deputies voted for his candidacy. No other candidates were nominated for the post of prime minister of the autonomy.

Rustam Temirgaliev was appointed Deputy Prime Minister.

Aksyonov called on the security forces to submit to the new government of the autonomy. He also announced the Crimea's appeal to Russia for financial assistance.

Aksenov’s candidacy has already been criticized by Verkhovna Rada deputy from Batkivshchyna, Andrei Senchenko.

“In the 90s, Aksenov, the foreman of an organized crime group, commanded a brigade of 10 fighters. This is the level of this public... These are primitive foremen with bats,” he said on Public TV.

“We went through all this 20 years ago. The public has aged, but not wiser,” says Senchenko.

According to him, the deputies did not have the right to appoint Aksyonov as prime minister. “According to the Constitution of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, the parliament proposes a candidate for prime minister to the president, receives consent, and only then votes,” Senchenko said.

He believes that Speaker Vladimir Konstantinov will be prosecuted.
