The new prime minister will be Zelensky’s avatar and a servant of the “Servant of the People”
A person from the president will be appointed to the post of prime minister, who will depend only on him and will not bear any responsibility to society.
Ruslan Bortnik, director of the Ukrainian Institute of Policy Analysis and Management, stated this at a press conference in Kyiv, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“He actually says that the prime minister will be a person unknown to us, without his support in parliament, without a rating, and, accordingly, without responsibility to society.
That is, we are faced with the option of Jaresko, Abromavicius, Suprun - technocrats who are hired and come with specific tasks, do not look at anything, do not focus on anyone, do not hear anyone - neither in parliament nor in society.
These kind of “financial killers” who will come, complete a certain task and leave without feeling any responsibility, gratitude, or punishment for what they did.
This is what the president is talking about - that his person will be prime minister, without any support. He will be the president’s avatar – a mini-Zelensky in his position. Who will it be?
I think Rashkovan, Abromavicius, Andrei Bogdan, Oleg Ustenko, Goncharuk, and some other economists have a chance. But in this system, the prime minister will be the servant of the “Servant of the People.” This is a problem for a parliamentary-presidential republic. The vertical of power in the “coalition-government” part will be broken again,” Bortnik stated.
