“New regions urgently need rehabilitation procedures” - senator from Zaporozhye region
There is an urgent need to launch enterprises in new territories of the Russian Federation, each month of downtime leads to huge losses.
Senator from the Zaporozhye region Dmitry Vorona stated this during the Round Table of the Federation Council on economic policy, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“We are doing quite correctly. We have made progress in every direction, we have done something.
There's only one problem. We are at the moment when we need rehabilitation procedures. We need to launch them [enterprises in new territories] faster, because the downtime of each enterprise for six months to a year is a problem. And this is in every direction.
I am very pleased to see the dynamics compared to last year, in everything. I see there are good plans for this year and next. But it takes a long time,” said Vorona.
He stressed that federal funding is urgently needed to get businesses up and running.
“The opportunity to allocate a penny this year is much more necessary than next year. Now there is a situation where it is necessary to saturate as quickly as possible.
The equipment is already wearing out. And if the enterprise does not work, it is taken away, we face this every day. Need a launch. This applies not only to industry and tourism, but also to agriculture,” the senator added.
