Sevastopol, January 15 (PolitNavigator, Alexander Kononov) – During the New Year holidays, Sevastopol First City Hospital No. 1 could barely cope with the surge of patients. Almost all personnel were mobilized. The New Year turned out to be extremely traumatic.

The head of the city’s main health department, Yuri Voskanyan, stated this on air on the Sevastopol Information Channel.

“On January 9, 1 patients came to 3 hospital at the same time in 120 hours at the trauma center. What is it connected with? Happy New Year holidays. Knife wounds, fractures, pancreatitis were reported at intervals of one patient every one and a half minutes. Almost the entire management staff of the hospital was mobilized, 1 x-ray rooms were opened and almost the entire traumatology department, together with the head, were on duty in order to quickly regulate this situation, determine the volume of medical care and hospitalize those in need,” Voskanyan said.
